HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

Victoria Christian Lewis was born January 3, 1992. She was raised in Fort Worth, Texas by her father and mother with her 2 younger brothers. Vicky has always been artistic and passionate about creating. As an elementary student, she was awarded for her artwork by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. She often expressed herself through writing, drawing, painting and was also heavily involved in musical arts. Her love for video production was introduced at a young age through family videos.

Growing up in the era of technology, Vicky was able to adapt fast to the technological advances and became well-versed in Internet culture. In high school, Vicky began her own web-series through Facebook called “Vicky Videos”, documenting her daily struggles as a high school student.  She graduated in 2010 and attended Texas Christian University. She studied Broadcast Journalism her freshman year, then shifted her focus to Strategic Communication and Public Relations with a minor in Art.

FINDING HER NICHE

Along her journey in college, Vicky created a YouTube channel under the name VICKYLEW, originally to continue creatively documenting her life as a hobby. She also had a love for photography. Vicky offered photoshoots for senior portraits, prom and family photos. As she grew into a young woman, Vicky developed her makeup skills by watching YouTube videos. Because of this, she began to offer makeup artistry as an add-on for photoshoots. After classes, Vicky would do her friends’ makeup for parties and events and take their pictures. They saw her passion and encouraged her to start her own photography and makeup business.

Meanwhile, Vicky’s mother introduced her to Cameron Logan, an entertainment business graduate from Chicago. They became friends on Facebook in 2010, and then began dating a year later. Cameron also encouraged her to pursue her passions and do what she loved.

With a growing photography and makeup business, Vicky was then inspired by the growth of the beauty community on YouTube to share her own expertise online. Vicky began to make video tutorials and offer details about her favorite products. While making videos, Vicky continued to freelance, taking photos and doing makeup as a side job while working as a sales associate at Forever 21.

Because of her shift in focus, Vicky left her university in 2012. After applying to several beauty schools, Vicky’s boyfriend Cameron convinced her to forge her own path and find her purpose. With his knowledge in business, he helped her to grow online, utilizing her YouTube channel as a way to make extra money while exploring her talents.

LOVE AND MARRIAGE

Vicky and Cameron were in a long distance relationship for three years and got married on Valentine’s Day of 2014. As a result, VICKYLEW was rebranded into VICKYLOGAN, and her platforms began to grow tremendously. Vicky’s creative outlet quickly grew into it’s own empire. As a result, the success of the VICKYLOGAN brand has allowed Vicky to completely dedicate herself to creating content full-time.

Following the success of their wedding video, Vicky and Cameron created a series called Life with the Logans. The Logans have grown a very loyal following by sharing their  journey as newlyweds. Vicky and Cameron aim to encourage young people by demonstrating the beauty of marriage and healthy relationships with God, family and friends. Together and apart, the Logans offer counseling, advice and encouragement in marriage, friendships and life in general. They now reside in the suburbs of Chicago with their dog, Gigi.

GROWING IN FAITH

Vicky and Cameron are actively involved in their community and adamant believers. The Logans were both raised in Christian homes as “preacher’s kids” with strong religious backgrounds. Now, they are both leaders in their church, with Cameron in position as Youth Pastor. The Logans are passionate about inspiring young people to develop their faith and find their purpose and identity in Christ.

FUTURE ENDEAVORS

In the future, Vicky aims to expand her influence offline to reach young women all over the world. Vicky hopes to inspire them to be confident, live healthy lifestyles and build thriving relationships. With persistence and an amazing family behind her, the possibilities are endless!

VICKYLOGANStay True to Who You Are

VICKYLOGANWork Life Balance
"You can have as many followers as you want, but when you don’t have that connection with people in real life, there is a void. I put as much effort into my personal life, as I do my internet presence. There has to be a balance."

VICKYLOGANStyle

VICKYLOGANSomething Beautiful
"My every day song is Tori Kelly – Something Beautiful. When that song came out, I was in a really rough patch in my career and my confidence level. That song really got me through it."
